Second studio album by the French electronic music duo. Originally released in 2001, the album marks a shift from the Chicago house sound prevalent on their first studio record, 'Homework' (1997), to a house style more heavily inspired by disco, post-disco, garage house, and R&B. The album features six singles, 'One More Time', 'Aerodynamic', 'Digital Love', 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger', 'Face to Face' and 'Something About Us'.

So, I didn’t own this on CD, nor do I have the original vinyl so I can only talk of this version but I’ve been waiting for this (and the re-release of homework) for ages.
It sounds great to be blunt. Very quiet in between tracks that aren’t gapless with lots of crispy bass and everything sounding even and true, levels are great and no discernible distortion towards the middle of the disc, probably helped by the fact that it’s a 2 disc affair and the run out on each disc is pretty large keeping a lot of the “music” towards the outer edge as much as possible. Where there’s vocals, they are clear, centred and well balanced. I really do like this pressing.
Other than, it’s a great album, side 1 has all the ones you’ll know but keep listening and you’ll get more of the same.
Like another reviewer, I did pre order for a December 17 release and had to wait a couple of weeks but I’m glad I got it as it’s not reading 1-2 months before it’s in stock.
If you can, at this price grab it as it’ll only go up.
